Creating holistic learning paths for ICT skills

How can we provide immersive, consistent education on transversal digital skills without adding to the teachers’ workload? Schools play an important part in ensuring that students have access to these crucial civic skills. In this session, we share our own experiences in developing a consistent framework for teaching these skills through immersive environments and structured lesson plans. Our project began with the goals of purpose and balance. We created a holistic learning path for grades 1 to 6, while simplifying planning and assessment. In doing so, we designed an educational pathway of simulations and interactive videos, supported by materials and guidelines for teachers. We hope to offer practical solutions to educators faced with the challenges of integrating the teaching of transversal digital skills into their everyday work.
