A school forest is a demarcated area which, after agreement with the landowner, is used by the school for lessons and outings.
The goal of a school forest is for it to fulfill the following purposes:
– Contribute to increased achievement of the curriculum’s goals in all subjects.
-Contribute to increased knowledge about sustainably managed forests from all aspects, their ecosystem services and role in society.
