In the school year calendar, school staff can enter all important events, which makes planning easier, gives students a more even workload and gives guardians better opportunities to support.
An academic year contains many events that should not clash with each other, such as tests, examinations, study days, internships, performance reviews, excursions and so on. StudyBee’s school year calendar is therefore broader than the traditional test calendar. The school year calendar also combines larger tests with tasks in Google Classroom, which means that students can see what is expected of them week by week. This makes it easier for students who have challenges at school and helps teachers, mentors and student health as well as guardians to support them with planning in the best way.

Visible to everyone – including students and guardians
The school year calendar is fully integrated into StudyBee, which means that school staff can access it from existing views to both add and view planned events. It is also integrated into the StudyBee Mobile app. This means that both students and guardians can see all the events that apply to the student, not just the last day for submission of assignments and IUP conversations that were previously possible to see, but now everything that is added to the school year calendar and applies to them. School staff choose in the tool what should be visible in the app.
